Domestic Property Specialists.

Protecting your family

A1 Asbestos Removal. We are specialists in the domestic market, having been here from the beginning and being part of the group that co-wrote the ACOP, I have considerable experience in removing asbestos from homes in NZ. I am one of the pioneers who put together the importance of removing asbestos from homes whilst considering the risks. I am still concerned we don’t do enough to inform homeowners of the scale of risk in removing asbestos.
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral widely used in building materials for its fire-resistant properties. However, it poses significant health risks when its fibres are inhaled. If your home was built before the 1990s, it may contain asbestos in materials such as insulation, roofing, flooring, and more.

Removing asbestos is not a DIY task. It requires specialised training and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Our professional asbestos removal services ensure:

  • Safety: Protecting your family and property from asbestos exposure.
  • Compliance: Adhering to local laws and regulations regarding asbestos disposal.
  • Peace of Mind: Knowing that your home is free from harmful materials.
  • A clearance certificate issued by an Independent Assessor.
  • You must prove that you have removed asbestos from your home.

Our Asbestos Removal Process

01

Inspection and Assessment,

Our certified team will conduct a thorough inspection of your property to identify any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and assess their condition.

02

Testing

If ACMs are suspected, we will take samples and send them to a certified laboratory for analysis. This is important for now and the future, even if removal is not possible at the current time. You will know where the asbestos is located in your home and any future issues that may arise out of moving home and selling you will have a current lab report on all ACM.
